Champ clubs are going to try loan some of our fringe players that won’t get many minutes. Clarke is not one of them so Boro are wasting their time but bless them for trying. |  |

With squad number limitations, I'd suggest left wing is one area where we will be looking to move one player on - either Philogene or Clarke.
I assume the same may happen with the number ten position, and Mehmeti is likely the player to be given a chance elsewhere, with Enciso and Engeli being first and second choice. Though we might want to get a third striker signed before we let him go. | |

There is no one whatsoever saying he's going anywhere. Every single club in the Championship if they have a few functioning brain cells, would be interested in Jack Clarke and want him in their team. Wanting and being interested is a given, getting is a whole different ball game. The only way I can ever see it happening is if he wants guaranteed game starting time, and is prepared to drop out of the PL, having just got there. That's a discussion for player and management to have should it ever happen. |  | | |

GON's comments on the weekend did not make it sound like Mehmeti would be off .. spoke about him contributing in the future.
"Anis Mehmeti obviously misses out today and he's been excellent for me in pre-season. He's worked his socks off every day.
