Three times the price, 4 times the travelling time going there and 15 hour return journey with the stop over at Newcastle being 9 hours. Too far to drive there and back the same day.

Any game played in the evening, typically at 20.00, is out for us. We cant get back hoom. We seem to have 6 like that so far. Two already. (Liverpool and Arsenal, then Forest, Chelsea, Coventry, Arsenal (again). That and Brentford on Boxing Day makes 7. So far. That is 35% of the matches. I read the latest rearrangments with trepidation. But we can handle them with some juggling.

Expensive innit. I spent £145 on train tickets, £120 hotel (PL premium price) and about £40 on food last time I went FPR. You can’t do that every week. Or even if you can it’s hard to justify.

I tend to drive to the likes of Liverpool, Manchester etc as again the trains are a ridiculous price with too many changes. The only games I can get to by train in reasonable good time and at a good price is Newcastle and Sunderland.

Bloody hell, that’s nuts. No wonder it can be a normal match day. It would cost me that much just to get to Bristol on the train. Yeah, trains are just nuts. We train the continent a lot and it’s a different world over there.

Frustrating. I miss the Forest game too. Clashes with The Bluetones tix that I bought months before the fixture list. I don't like missing games but the resale process works well. That's about the only positive thing.

I am relatively local to Ipswich down here in Essex, and these changes are nothing but a nuisance to even me, they don't care that we work all week .... and especially with early kick offs, that some of us might not want to rush around much earlier to get to the game and actually enjoy our allotted time off a bit! But nobody cares about that because.... money.
I don't even look at the fixtures anymore until the week of, and then decided what I am going to do on the day to get there. We as football supporters get mucked about so much by the media-money lot, all so people can have a game on in the background while they scroll their phones. I hate modern football.

Ashton needs to be very careful about this.
I agree that if someone puts 19/19 tickets on the resale site, then they deserve to lose their season ticket.
But so many fixtures are moved for TV and as we can see in this thread, many supporters can't get home afterwards. Or even arrive in time for a lunchtime kick-off if trains aren't running etc.
