Fair enough, but if you'd rather he stuck with him, then you'd understand walton's performances being discussed.
A simple message is, you can both be positive about the team display and proud of walking away 3-2 to man city, whilst also having a view that there were some poor individual performances included. Both can be true. | |

After seeing how Cov and Sunderland done there I thought we would have a chance to get at them at times today, especially after they had come off Liverpool and PSG, and it appears that was correct.
I still thought we’d like loose by 2 or 3 though, we certainly have something about us and I’m very encouraged.
Doesn’t mean if someone has an opinion on the goalkeeper or an individual performance they have to “f**k off” though, that’s just board police nonsense. |  |

Totally agree. But if you immediate response after watching that performance is to come on here and post negatively about individuals - then I stand by my original post. And of course to ignore some of City’s chances to take it right away from us is a but lacking reality.
But as you say City were hating that injury time and we were really in the game.
(Note: GON was right to be angry with that incorrect offside call when were right on them).
But to my point if a number of players had played to their full capability, Enciso, Florentino, Walton, I genuinely think there was a point in today.

They can - but they're not in this instance.No 'poor' performances there today. Several very good and some average - but I really don't think anyone was 'poor'. Also, some individual mistakes, but imho you can't define an overall performance by those.
So I'd say the converse of your comment - someone can make a few mistakes but still play well overall.
