In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act
Mis-quoting him is, of course, worse, but never mind. Everyone has their flaws and my favourite ever writer certainly did. To (accurately) quote someone "(Orwell) may have tilted at windmills - but some of them were real dragons". Anyone thrusting their right arm forward, at a certain angle, at a public meeting needs tilting at as far as I'm concerned. As do his supporters.
Quoting 1984 whilst continually promoting right wing tweets is quite the move.
Assuming you even understood what you were quoting or what Orwell did.

If he was simply promoting right-wing tweets then that’ll be fine, but he’s not. He’s sharing far-right content and trying to pass it off as the truth.
If I was to be charitable then I’d say that it’s easy to share content whilst being ignorant of who the tweeter is. But with Bel, he knows exactly what type of people he’s promoting and he doesn’t care.
He’s just in my opinion at least a complete cock. F**k him.

Didn’t he build a bridge? Didn’t make it bloody wide enough though did he!
The state of this place lately. People posting Islamophobic propaganda and thinking they’re adding something to the board. Back to X scrambling people’s brains again..,

He hasn’t posted any far right tweets on this thread so could you and your cohort take your beef with Belstead to the thread where he had done this rather than highjack my thread? Thanks.
Antisemites, Jew haters and crashing bores will be put on ignore.
They can’t accept it Europe has fkd it for themselves.
It will happen here in Blighty it’s got naf all to do with classrooms 😂
To be clear, these protests were started in good faith by peaceful protesters with genuine grievances, but have been highjacked by the groups I listed in my earlier post.
I’d like to think that their numbers are considerably less in this country added to the onset of cold weather, we should escape what we are seeing in France and sone other European countries.
It’s also worth noting that the last example of wholesale violence and thuggery on our streets came from groups organised by Tommy Robinson and co. Although thankfully nothing on the scale of events discussed on this thread.
I think our psyche is vastly different to that of continental Europe, especially France. Hence we have a completely different history when it comes to revolution and political street violence.

Well that's a hot take even by your low standards, I see that the BBC are now rewriting history and putting the yellow vest movement as an exclusively left wing thing.
Maybe I'm missing something, but where's the evidence in these clips that this is Islamists and antisemites?

If you are talking about arrests and trouble on our streets there were more arrests at the October 7th March and The Notting Hill Carnival.
and btw I don’t support Tommy Robinson I support Reform and a touch of Rupert Lowe.

For those of us who think those 3 are very similar can you explain the differences in positions and aims between Tommy Robinson, Reform and Restore?
Of course you can't because in reality you don't have a clue about any of their actual positions. You just want to ruin the country as much as possible for future generations.

Eyebrows and his team of chancers are doing a mighty fine job of that already buh.
Burning down a Town Hall that survived two world wars and The Nazis is a little bit different I’d say!
Non ?
Thankfully, it was a little calmer across the Channel last night. According to Le Figaro, the localised curfews ordered by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu successfully restored order in Lyon and Paris.
Regarding the heavy presence of Palestinian flags, this piece from HonestReporting offers a really interesting take on how the symbol has been completely co-opted.
But don't worry about any of this spreading our way. Today, "Tiny Andy" is bravely tackling parking fines, having successfully sorted out noisy trains yesterday. He still hasn't uttered a single word of comment on the French riots.
