The run forward that lead to the second goal was crucial, took a lot of pressure off us when we needed it. Just a shame he didn't cap that performance with a goal.
Being picky, he was a bit careless on the ball at times which, given his ability, was sloppy. I really like him though, decent player making the most of another chance. |  |

Best right back that we have had for a long time - and has the ability to cover the centre as well. He can be a bit careless for sure but I loved his runs forward yesterday and think with a bit more confidence under his belt then we'll see more of them [Post edited 17 Dec 2017 13:19]

So the whole post is from a year ago - TWTD should show the date with the year I suppose.
Look at the views and you can see it is Trequartista who has dug it out. Presumably to show how far opinion has shifted on Spence.
Although, it really should show he was playing much better this time last year and, therefore, destroys his argument that he isn't good enough, rather he is not playing well at the moment.
I maintain that is much to do with the change of tactical set up with the role the wider midfield players have and is the reason for Knudsen's apparent drop off in form too. We need to get the players playing the system better (and that includes whoever is ahead of the full backs and the CBs) or go back to the more defensive set up. | |
