That depends if he was promised more than he's been given, which is what has been implied. Evans may have thought PL would have got a couple of results early on in his tenure which would be enough to shore us up until this point and then spend the cash, but we've never looked like staying up since Lamberts been here and could have changed tact.
If PL walks that shows we're beyond being a joke club now, we're simply a laughing stock thanks to the owner. Next season we're going to be in cup competition with Norwich reserves. Our first team.

It’s the 9th January and we’ve signed 3 players already with a 4th only falling through due to location. If the budget had suddenly been changed there’s no way we’d have been able to identify and get those deals wrapped up that quickly
