Derby or Villa? 05:07 - May 27 with 3511 viewsBenters2

I of course want Derby to win,I don’t go a lot on Villa.

Frank Lampard has turned into a fine manager.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that you've chubbed up a little for Derby County. Never saw that one coming.

Seems to be a real possibility that he could be Chelsea manager by the start of next season.

That would be interesting.

Villa for me having worked with a Villa supporter recently. I also don’t like the Frank lampard 11 with their misplaced sense of entitlement. As for Lampard the jury is out. With the money at his disposal and his contacts they should have been closer to top two rather than scraping into the playoffs. He may make a manager. Time will tell.

Also Villa. Derby have tried and failed several times with a lot of financial clout, even if they win it will be a bit slapstick and do little to prove the effectiveness of throwing money at the problem.

Ipswich by the grace of gloves

Surely Villa have spent far, far more than Derby?

They have spent that money much more wise than Derby's scattershot approach

Villa all day long for me...I want to see Mel Morris trying to get away with selling the stadium to Derby County for a quid before the next transfer window, and then buying it back for £120m at the end of the season...

Villa for me. Yes they’ve spent money , but they were a PL Club using parachute money.

Derby by comparison have spent millions season upon season and have failed time and again to even make the play offs. They’ve spent that much money that they have been forced to sell their ground yet They appear to be an arrogant bunch of fans IMO who think they are owed something.

i'll probably side with derby, purely based on how good that second leg was (vs leeds)
mate of mine is a big villa fan, but he'll never know I secretly want derby to win

We’ll be good again... one day

Very hard to call obviously but something tells me Derby, bit more flair about them and the way they turned Leeds game around showed they can do it when it matters too, but god knows :)

Good to see you back ba...

Villa, but would be good if Derby went up and got relegated before kicking a ball for FFP irregularities :-)

I dislike Derby slightly less than Villa, and John Terry considerably more than Frank Lampard. So Derby for me.

Derby for myself.

Remains a little bit of a stretch to suggest Lampard has turned into a fine manager. He’s had a v good season regardless of what happens today.

Would class him still as a developing manager.

I’m not sure about this Lampard love just yet. They finished 6th last season, he spent a fair amount of money and they finished 6th again with less points. Ultimately if they go up today then job done but I’ve not been overly impressed with them this season.
