His foundation has raised £13.5m in that time.

How appropriate then that the play:"Bobby Robson saved my life" is showing at the Ipswich Regent tonight! Some of the proceeds are donated to this worthy cause. Tickets still available on the Regent website. Should be an enjoyable and emotional evening.

Can only imagine what it must have been like to watch his team progress over the years. Sir Bobby is probably the most liked man in football so to have him manage us for 13 years and make his mark here is something we can always be proud of as a club.

I wish "more than a manager" was made before he died.

I knew his accomplishments at Ipswich and England, but didn't know much detail about his time abroad.

What a man. RIP

What a lovely, lovely man.

We should declare 31st July as Sir Bobby Day and - out of respect - spend the day being polite to each other, positive about the future of the club he loved and showing ourselves to be decent human beings.

I had never watched that final before. Seen the whole FA Cup final but never watched this before. Must have been great for anyone who was there.

One of my favourite comments was a radio presenter who pointed out that cancer didn't beat Sir Bobby, he thrashed it 4-1.

I guess now that score is in the 1000s-1.
