There's a player there if you don't think that then you probably don't understand football one that could be worth 20 to 40 million in the future once he get's his game together.
It's about Lambert finding solutions to get the best out of him, he's a player who we should be building a side around, he takes the ball off the centre half's on the half turn, there isn't many of those players about in league 1 or the Championship.
If we let him go, it will come back to bite us in the backside in a big way financially. |  | | |

There's a player there if you don't think that then you probably don't understand football one that could be worth 20 to 40 million in the future once he get's his game together.
It's about Lambert finding solutions to get the best out of him, he's a player who we should be building a side around, he takes the ball off the centre half's on the half turn, there isn't many of those players about in league 1 or the Championship.
If we let him go, it will come back to bite us in the backside in a big way financially. |
Taking the ball on the half turn is one thing, but keeping possession and making good use of the ball is another.
It's frustrating as there does seem to be talent there, but he should be able to make an impact in L1. | |

Phil seems to think he has an option of another year on it that we can take but hard to see that backed up anywhere else.
I think now is the time for him to come in and play a run of games, he's looked like he is ready to kick on now as been one of our better players in all his recent starts |  |

He does seem to see passes that nobody else on our books can see but perhaps attempts the "killer" pass too often.
Also if the players in front of him are not seeing what he is seeing what in different circumstances could be the perfect pass looks like a wasted ball because nobody has read it.
I think that he has largely disappointed when given a chance and we will never know what would have happened if he had not got injured in that Birmingham game two and a half years ago when he looked the best player on the pitch.
As gets said from time to time he probably needs to be playing with better or quicker thinking players for his game to flourish. |  | | |
