Shouldn't take you more than an hour.
You cycling around the Lea River out your way? Depending on your bike you can take the towpath all the way down to Canary Wharf and then back.
10km along the towpath usually takes about 30 minutes max.

30 mins sounds hopeful! But thanks for the tips (don't know my routes yet - need to get from Walthamstow to Islington occasionally, but the river lee sounds nice - ta)
Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

50 miles?! Can;t see that personally, but played!
Why not? What do they say? The hardest part of climbing a mountain is the first step. Unless you are injured you can build up....got sfa else to do for 12 weeks ;-)

You can go down the Lea towpath and then change to the Regents canal which goes past Victoria Park and then into Angel - that way you avoid most the roads.

Thanks loads Stokie - don't really fancy wobbling down too many roads if I can avoid them. Appreciate it - I'll look up the route.

We know it is going to end in a comedy moment.
I don't even trust myself to walk along those towpaths, Pecker old fruit! Especially if a few beverages have been consumed. Oh, and don't get me started on the fckn cyclists on there.

Thing is, if you only get to 30, still way better than sitting on your arse all day. The outside (walking, cycling, motorbiking) is so good for your mental health. And lets be honest - everyone is tetchy at the moment - and we are 1 week in....

He is going in if he takes that route, no doubt about it.
