This may have been discussed already, but despite a lot of injured players out for the first couple of games, El Miz has not even made the bench.
With Dobra not available on Tuesday, I assumed he'd be nailed on for at least a spot amongst the subs, but nope.
Seems Lambert's/Taylor's harsh words to him and some of the others were more than just a kick up the bum in his case.
Or is he injured and I am reading too much into it?
Thought he looked good pre-season and this might be his season, but maybe not. |  |

No didn't see that Tunisia had a game, think he's probably being eased back after getting that nasty knee injury just before the season was cancelled. Hopefully he won't be to far away from a subs place as he can defiantly offer us a lot. | | | |

This is why the club needs a clear out of players who have underperformed (especially the older ones). All it's doing is stifling the development and confidence of the younger promising players while providing little benefits. |
They don't get a free pass though. He has to get in the team on merit. Sears has come back firing, Judge to his credit looks much more like the player we thought we were getting and Dozzell, Bishop and Downes are all well ahead. Nolan was much more like for like for Downes. To be honest he's really competing more with Bishop, Huws, Lankaster, Judge, Edwards and Sears. Frankly I'm not getting rid of any of them just to make his life easier.

Obviously they don't get a free pass, but the whole fiasco with the photograph and "earning" their place is ridiculous. They have impressed more often than not when being played, especially compared to the usual cohort. | | | |

I would rather we give him a go than persist with Nolan tbh. I've not seen enough of El Miz to know what type of player he is but we have to go with a bit more youth with some experience for the longer term. |  | | |

I think that's been the plan for him, Dobra, McGavin as well as the others below them in the pecking order, Clements and Brown having already gone out. The problem is finding clubs in League Two in a position to be able to pay enough of their wages to make it worth our while sending them out. |  | | |

Yes, I'm guessing that's the only option to get players out as Nolan, Judge, Donacien and Toto are now near impossible to shift.
