Oh dear! Do I bother to reply? I believe that Blubbers is 40 so he would not have seen any players that would be in our greatest team.

He could have seen one (Warky) although not when Warky was at his very best.

Thing is Fishers, it doesn't matter what we say, it will be wrong and we will have revealed our stupidity and lack of football acumen by not going for the other one, which would be your choice.

How old would he have been? Did he already understand football in a way that we don’t?

Warky was still pretty good in 1992 and for a while after that.

So someone born round about 40 years ago might well have seen Johnny Wark play for us but not the Warky that would get in most all time ITFC teams picked by those of us lucky enough to have ITFC memories going back upwards of 40 years(or a lot more).

The only one who gets there that he has seen would be Gwion Edwards.

Yes, because that was Warky's first game for Town.

And Chambers would get into the team ahead of both him and Burley any day.

Obviously.

Well I know that! But that's not how it read.

Back in...

That's why we have words like 'return'. You know, on his return, or second spell as you say.
