Just announced he’s re-joining as under 23’s coach, didn’t realise he was as coming back. Hopefully he’s being lined up to take the top job soon as well.

Hope there’s a Pirlo/Juventus situation here.

Don’t know if he’s going to be managing them or just coaching. Was a bit unclear.

He left because he wanted to be a manager but without having a job.

He may be their new manager, that’s what another poster on here had heard last week - guess Phil will know one due course

Is there any chance of Nash moving up to the 1st team if that's the case?

I think if it is the case Nash is more likely to have moved on

Always a strange situation with Nash, he was U23s manager but then Chris Hogg, who was previously his assistant, became joint manager with Nash and Hogg appeared to be involved with the Senior team a bit when Nash was not.

Didn't exactly sound a vote of confidence in Nash, sounded like they rated Hogg higher than him so not surprising that he may be moving on.

Ideal.

Ready to step in as caretaker manager of the first team when needed.

In 1987 Kieron pinched a sandwich from his lunch box.

An utterly futile task.
Never have we had a manager less able to respond to even the mildest tweak in tactics by opposition coaches.

maybe they are giving him a more rounded experience, coaching, analysing opposition all good tools to have as a potential future manager. I always think young coaches should do a number of things to help development of them as a coach/manager in the future, coaching young players, working with experienced players, scouting.

Of course this probably isn't our plan!
