Does the defending well but also he's very comfortable on the ball, drops quickly and naturally into position as well to receive it. Think he'll stay in this side for quite a while.

Wolf done well too.

Only complaint is lack of goals.

If nothing else tonight has provided a chance for those 2 to work together in a competitive match then.

against the most inept opposition it's fairly meaningless. Not been tested have they..

He’ll grow in confidence the more he plays.

Yeah he does, he's old school. I like him, kind of reminds me of a young Berra. No nonsense but can also play a bit. That has to be our best back 4 IMO, please stick with it now.

We need to get Downes back ASAP into the middle alongside Teddy and Andre and then I think we've got a nice looking side.

6/10 performance for me today, not great but fortunately didn't have to be against mediocre opposition. Still, 3 points in the bag and on to the next one.

We need a Striker, we look totally toothless up front if we can get our Strikers scoring then that team would look decent.

We do, the front 3 is the piece of the jigsaw that I don't think we've landed on yet, especially the central striker if we have Edwards on the left and Lankester right. Jackson's back now, and I wouldn't rule him out making a claim up there. Hawkins looks to be doing what we thought he would and is a decent option, but I cant see him scoring 20 a season. I've kind of given up on Norwood for now.

Jackson on one of the flanks would add much needed potency. sears just doesn't make things happen. Edwards at least opened them up a few times

Same here on Norwood, wouldn’t be surprised if we move him on in January and try to bring in a striker then. Hawkins is a clever player he keeps the ball well but he ain’t going to be scoring more than 10 a season. How we get Jackson and Hawkins into the same team is the conundrum as we don’t look like playing Jackson wide though I think he would do a decent job!

Thought Gills were very limited sat off us which was unlike the last two games.

We looked absolutely fine for the most part and caused ourselves more problems than the opposition did.

A draw or loss would have made that look terrible but a win didn’t do us wonders either and we’d have needed to bag 3 or 4 to please people.

Not ideal but I'd still be tempted to play Lankaster right, Edwards left, and Jackson in the middle, that's a pacy front three, we don't have too many options upfront obviously, Jackson isn't the best back to goal we know that but this is a league below now and still think he could do a job, he has good movement too, that worries defenders, something we lack badly right now..

I like how he has his socks rolled down and shorts pulled up to make his legs look as long as possible.

Yep, ideally we'd have more athletic, mobile forward to play that role....
