Don't have to have managed Ipswich...

Obviously Magilton and Burley.

Then Shefki and Darren Currie who have more recently followed.

Any others.... recent or not?

Yes, quite briefly and I think very unhappily.

Thompson had previously managed in League Two with Boston and York so I think he can be classed as a proper manager.

Didn't the tragic suicide of John Lyons contribute to him leaving?

Yep. You're right. Forgot that.

Ian Redford managed Brechin.
David Hill was at Cobh Ramblers.

Keeping it local:

Jason Dozell managed Ipswich Wanderers
Mickey Stockwell and Carlos Edwards both managed Woodbridge.
Kevin Horlock now manages Needham Market.

I could not remember exactly but I know there was a tragedy of some sort.

Osman was a strange one. Seemed quite successful at Brizzle City but dropped right out of it thereafter . I know he suggested Mings to MM before anyone says that.

Who did Christ manage? And when did he play for Ip...ah, Kevin Beattie walks on water...

Brian Talbot hasn't been mentioned yet, he managed at quite a high level - which sounds like the anxiety of everyone else when he was in charge.

Crikey. I did think of Talbot and completely disregarded him which is odd because I can vividly remember his last game as WBA boss as it was against us.
