I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

If we lose on Saturday then I’m pretty confident that he’ll be sacked soon after that.

I’m so confident that I’ll stake my non existent reputation on here that this will be the case.

Are we talking 'soon' in the human or geological sense of the word?

I see the EAFT poll is now meaningless since it is clear our 6 fingered friends up the A140 have infiltrated it

No, Marcus is just waiting for Cook and the Cowley's to be offered jobs elsewhere before he makes his move.

I don't think the result on Saturday is relevant at all. If this was a performance related issue, it has gone way beyond it. The sticking point surely has to be contract related.

No, Shrewsbury will be the final straw. Defeat against an unglamorous and small team (even by L1 standards) will what cause Evans to sack Lambert. Plus Evans had had a dislike for Shrewsbury for making Hurst look good.

Lose Saturday and the whole thing is largely redundant really. The new manager would have to turn us from mid-table fodder into 2-points-a-game-league-champions form overnight, even to sneak us into the play-offs.

A competent-plus manager will easily be able to take the club into the playoffs.

6 games ago I think it's a relatively easy task. Now? I think it's a very difficult one.

Next two games are winnable. Deluded Evans holding on to that.

Are they?

Shrewsbury on a cracking run of form
Oxford, top of the form chart

Actually think these two games are harder than our last 2
