FFS, why is "Old Man Leaves Hospital" the headline news on the BBC? 14:08 - Mar 16 with 1239 viewsThe_Flashing_Smile

It was bad enough when he went in... but with people dying all over the world from a global pandemic, a woman dragged from the streets and murdered, why on earth is this the headline story?!

Absolute madness.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Keeps the proles happy rather than thinking about:
Why their job has gone
Why so many are dead
Why do the government lie all the time
Why have all the tories mates creamed off billions of taxpayers money
Why has Govt response to CV been so criminally bad
Why can I no longer protest about the government
Etc etc

Because he is the spouse of our head of state.

It's not as if the news hasn't been wall to wall "with people dying all over the world from a global pandemic, a woman dragged from the streets and murdered*". Oh and Harry and Meghan.

*As it should be.

Same with the 6 o'clock news. I would have thought AZ would have been the leading story but maybe they are playing it down.

To you (and Joe above) - I appreciate some people are interested in that sort of thing, and I don't have a problem with it generally being news, but the HEADLINE STORY?! Really?!

I used covid and Sarah Everard as examples, but literally any other news would be more important than "old man ok to go home."

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Maybe the BBC are conscious that if they don’t , some will criticise the running order of its news as an indication of left wing bias.

Pretty much every day when I look at the news I think "Why isn't the headline story 'Humans; why are you still destroying the only planet you can live on?'".
