It is alarming that the teams at the top still have terrible form. The league is a quagmire of dross that for small to medium clubs would just be a difficult bull fight to get out of. But here we, Sunderland and Portsmouth are.

Rotherham and Coventry would walk this league this year if they were in it.
The gulf between League 1 and the Championship just gets bigger and bigger each year. It's not far off being bigger than the gulf between the Championship and the Prem.
If/when we get out of this league we've got a big task on our hands to stay up, let alone push on. |  |
