If 1 - 1 with an out rushing GK, here's a training video on how to chip the GK

Beautiful. Probably my favourite ever goal of ours. When did you last see us move the ball forward with purpose like that?

His birthday couldn't have come at a better time.

Was showing my son videos of old goals and finidi footage came up on YouTube and I said I've no idea how old he was when we got him.

Can you show the rest of the squad as well so they can see what effort and desire looks like?

Look at where he starts. Nothing on his mind but getting on the end of a chance there.

Truly impaired.

I shall do some individual videos later starting with wright from 99 lol.

I can imagine Edwards being george there. Pass it inside. Stop. Wait to see what happens.

His first touch was a bit risky imo. He should have taken that opportunity to get the ball under control, turn and lay off a nice pass back to the keeper, allowing the opposition to get properly set. ITFC the 20/21 way.

Every time I watch Nolan he gets the ball, runs about five yards before turning around and passing it back to where he has just run from.

Genuinely infuriating. Safe, dull uninspired football.

Ha, yes he does. And 5 yards would be one of his longer passes!

You increasingly see safe, dull percentage based football these days. I'm sure players are having initiative and flair coached out of them.

You do us a disservice there, those one-touch passes are exactly the sort of thing we get from Gwion. It's just that he's trying to control the ball and everyone else is going the opposite way.

What's was he playing at, surely he should have trapped the ball and passed back to his keeper.....

Such a shame it didn't really work out for him here. Those games where he did perform were sublime to watch.

It's particularly good as he is the one that intercepts it and starts the play.
