My Mum's back from Portugal.... 08:50 - Jun 23 with 1357 views | BanksterDebtSlave | ....and I can confirm that she still struggles with the online world. She had 5 goes at the track and trace form and has been getting 5 calls a day. She ignored the 5th one a couple of days back as she was losing the will to live and got an early morning visit from the Stasi to slap her wrist. She needs a holiday! #payingdidoswages

My Mum's back from Portugal.... on 09:03 - Jun 23 with 1306 views | StokieBlue | I know you think it's funny and are on a bit of a posting roll but it's really not funny to reference an NHS track and trace person doing a job to benefit society as a whole with the Stasi. In fact I think it's pretty awful. SB

You were warned this would happen before she went. You dismissed it if I remember correctly. What does someone's age have to do with the rules? You are also conflating two issues. These are the rules, you don't have to shoehorn Dido into everything. SB

you do know that she isn't paid? you can probably criticise her for many things, but taking a salary isn't one of them.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

I’ll say it again Take a day off from being the board police for once, before you jump on someone maybe take a look at context

Context is always important, it's a shame you've totally missed it on this occasion. Board police? I just don't particularly like comparisons of NHS/Health staff who are just doing their jobs and a secret police force who tortured and killed large numbers of people. SB

Yeah context! You must be a fun guy to go down the pub for a pint with. I would suggest to you that the context in which the OP referred to the Stasi would have been similar to mine and completely without the spin you had to take. “ One of the Stasi's main tasks was spying on the population, primarily through a vast network of citizens turned informants”

Of course it is. It's also nice to see some of that "she'll just ignore it" arrogance meet the real world. People going abroad know the risks. By all means go and enjoy your holiday but if things change then tough luck. We're in a global pandemic. Wishful thinking and whinging aren't going to help you.

Yes, context. I can only think if Bankster used that expression they must have behaved in a bullying, authoritarian manner. If someone in authority is polite and respectful whilst doing their job it would never be justified.

People staycationing are just as bad! For 18 months or whatever it is, mother footers has been fielding angry calls from those desperate to go on broads cruise holidays in bloody November or whatever. "When will holidays be ready to book again?" "I booked at the height of the pandemic and now my holiday is postponed, how could this possibly be happening to me?!" Incredibly, one lady rung up saying she needed a refund as her daughter had passed away. No further detail and no further proof in order to get a refund. The depths some people sink to. Bloody people, keep 'em away from me!
