It's a hot potato. I'll show my card (I'd rather do an LFT tbh, it is more important to know infection status at that point than vaccination status, isn't it?) but refuse to download any app which requires me to show my location at all times. Hate smartphones anyhow. |  |

Worthwhile noting that the app which tracks your contacts and "pings" you is a different app to the one which provides your vaccine status - the former is the NHS COVID app, the latter is just the NHS app. | | | |

And the NHS app is a pretty useful tool, you can use it to manage appointments and prescriptions as well as tracking your covid test results and obviously getting your covid pass for both travel and domestic use | |

Also if you switch off Bluetooth the Covid app doesn’t work. |  |
