He's not a leader. Put him next to a reliable, experienced leader (Chambers or Wilson) and he's ok. Put him next to another young defender, or someone who is not a leader at the back, and he struggles.
Edmundson has to be first choice; it may be good for us and him if we let Woolfenden go out on loan (at least) in January and see if we can source a stronger defender in return. Do I fully trust Nsiala or Burgess? No. |  |
