"that is not part of a religious text written by anonymous non eye witnesses." also includes all of the gospels - Luke was written by a doctor called Luke (who while not an eyewitness carefully investigated those who were and presented his findings); Matthew, Mark and John were all eyewitnesses.
Of course, if you have already decided that Jesus didn't exist (despite the evidence to the contrary), you will then decide that these were not written by the authors that are clearly stated and widely accepted. | |

So you can't trust anything that anyone currently living says about things that happened just before they were born - even if they are the most highly qualified historian?
Please present the same level of evidence for Julius Caesar from his contemporaries.
There are very few people who genuinely believe that Jesus never existed.
To quote from the article on Josephus that you have not read: "These passages, along with other non-biblical, non-Christian references to Jesus in secular first-century sources–among them Tacitus (Annals 15:44), Suetonius (Claudius 25), and Pliny the Younger (Letter to Trajan)–prove conclusively that any denial of Jesus’ historicity is maundering sensationalism by the uninformed and/or the dishonest."
