Wondering if you were feeling better? And getting back to normal?
(Yes I know we’re supposed to ‘just get on with it’ and ‘millions have it why mention it’)
I’ve had symptoms since Sunday. Monday and Tuesday were bed ridden flu symptoms… but was feeling better last night and was convinced it was almost over, then woke up with a b@stard sore throat at 4am this morning. Just knackered today but trying to do some work, as getting behind.
Got a positive PCR through Monday. And lateral flow this morning a very strong line - so guess still contagious. Don’t want to give to my lad who has exams.

I tested positive (for the first time) on Monday morning. No symptoms, worked from home (as per my employers policy), then yesterday started to get a stiff neck. Then about 9 pm, suddenly became feverish and shivering. Today absolutely everywhere aches, and keep getting hot & sweaty spells. Coughing, sneezing as well. Like flu, no really sore throat yet....... I'm sure I picked it up at Oxford.

Get well soon. I'm currently on day 12 and feel back to normal now, if a tiny bit bunged up. From day 4 it was the sore throat and fatigue that got me but I seem to have finally shaken both. When I first tested positive I was expecting something pretty mild but I found it pretty rough, I'm relatively young and tripple jabbed as well! |  |

Good to hear you're back to normal. 12 days to be fully back to normal seems long, when young and triple jabbed sounds long, but guess my have been worse if not jabbed.
Day 2 and 3 I got my worse symptoms, now on day 4 and just knackered (possibly as been up since 5am with the b@stard throat - which has really cleared through today) with mild flu symptoms only. So sounds like you had it worse than I.
Its everywhere currently, and it seems most people are getting it sooner rather than later. Ipswich one of the highest case areas in the UK. Plus areas like Maldon in Essex. | |

Yeah we picked it up in Essex, I travel a lot for work and managed to avoid for two years but guess it had to happen at some point. I'd say I felt normal from about day 8, just the lingering bunged up nose and tiredness. I must have got through a pack of strepsils and halls soothers a day. Good luck with the sleep, that was the most annoying part. | |

Getting there, thanks for asking. I'm on day 8 and the sore throat has almost gone now. Just really knackered. Still testing positive and been isolating away from Lady Dollers, who amazingly is still negative.
Bored of these 4 walls but at least the pain has gone. |  |

I've joined the ranks of the infected. Came home yesterday and felt fine only to deteriorate fairly rapidly, slept badly and it's sort of come in waves today - feel ok at one point and then sh1t again 20 minutes later. Sore throat, bit of a cough, feverish at times.
I guess I've got a few days of this to look forward to and then hopefully better during next week. At least I avoid rail replacement bus sh1te on Saturday now! |  |

Feint line on the LFT yesterday and even feinter today so should be negative today or tomorrow judging by how the wife and kids tests went the same way.
Slight cough still but that aside I feel back to normal. Just very tired from a couple of weeks of the whole house being ill and sleep being all over the show.

Day 9 since I tested positive & feel fine, but still got the faintest of faint lines on my test so steering clear of the office etc till next week.
