It was fantastic having such a packed PR yesterday but I often wonder if it is more of a negative than a positive influence on how we play and the final result.
Can the players handle the pressure of expectation at home and will they therefore play better away?
Until the second half of last season I would have agreed with you but I think the current crop will thrive on it for most of the season. It might have helped us if we'd been away for the first game just to get into the stride of the season
I think every one of those players would have played in front of very decent crowds before though, whether here at PR or at previous Clubs and have had the same expectations..

The team could have frozen yesterday.. but didn’t and grew into the game on 16:22 - Jul 31 with 829 views
You're probably right this early in the season, but in a month or so when we're flying it'll be a different story, with nigh on thirty thousand fans screaming the Blue Army on to victory after victory.
Playing in front of a positive atmosphere that PR has recently produced has got to be better for the team than the opposite. Any pressure or expectation will come from the club hierarchy or from themselves to play at a higher level.
In every one of McKennas games we’ve had over 20k at PR and only lost once
Incredible crowds aren’t they. And with his style of entertaining football, if that’s combined with regular wins we could get a very high average at PR this season.
But what’s overall league record at PR Joe? 1 loss and..?
