Forest still spending/bidding like there’s no tomorrow 11:59 - Aug 13 with 1231 views | Illinoisblue | 20m on Dennis from Watford, now bidding 15m for Maupay from Brighton. They are going for the prize of 17th place in a really big way.

Forest still spending/bidding like there’s no tomorrow on 12:22 - Aug 13 with 1078 views | le2blue | They don’t have much choice, had soo many loan players last year who were their key players that they need to build a new team. Going to be a tough one for them to survive but he’s a good manager.

Not really surprised, Forest have always been another Derby waiting to happen. It's 17th or bust really ....

Forest still spending/bidding like there’s no tomorrow on 12:26 - Aug 13 with 1062 views | LankHenners | They're in an interesting situation - went up with a good Championship squad supported by a few excellent loans and playing greater than the sum of their parts due to a really good manager, but obviously meant the squad needing upgrading which could lead them to have too much 'bedding in' to do in a league that doesn't give you the chance to do that.

Forest still spending/bidding like there’s no tomorrow on 12:39 - Aug 13 with 956 views | Seablu | Reminds me of Fulham’s approach a couple of seasons ago. Splashed about £100m on a load of misfits and crashed spectacularly. I’m not sure Forest have the resources to recover if it goes badly wrong. That said, they’ve got an excellent manager.

It’s very interesting. A demolition man scenario in reverse to ours. Have to assume they’ll lose some team spirit generated during promotion. Hard to keep so many new faces happy as well as what’s left of the existing squad.

You just have to be better than three other teams... Everton? Possibly Southampton? I can't think of a 3rd...think Fulham will have a good go. I think they're doomed

Despite the result on opening day I think Bournemouth will struggle.

Yep them, Leeds (lost two best players and don’t much rate the manager) and Brentford (second season syndrome and not improving squad much) are the three I see going down. Think Forest will be fine and Fulham will finally stay up

Leicester City? Signed no one and getting rid of their better players, recipe for disaster.
