Two seasons ago they were playing nice football and made it to the Championship play-offs, now they seem absolutely rudderless. It struck me as a strange signing from them but I can only assume they are in some financial turmoil as most of their business has been bizarre.
I don't have much against Norwood the player, but expected him to be plying his trade for a bottom-half L1, or upwardly mobile L2 side. I suppose he is now.

I think Chaplin’s comments re Barnsley are quite telling really. He certainly has no respect for his former club and Chaplin doesn’t seem like a player that has a chip on his shoulder.
Had a quick browse of their forum and their fans aren’t happy with him at all, in general not just last night. Pretty damning that a lot of them are wanting him to leave before the end of the window, the same window they signed him in!

Silly by Norwood, but the Lincoln player goes down as if he's been shot. Judging by the footage, it wasn't so much an elbow as his hand brushing by his face.
Still should never have given the player/referee the opportunity, though.

Looked more like the lower part of his arm. The Lincoln player went down like he had been hit in the face.

Is both purchased and sold in the same window something that has ever happened before?! Indeed is it allowed to happen rules-wise?
