Failing to get promotion last season left them having to sell their best players and they haven’t been able to adequately replace them.
Usually their recruitment is quite good but they look as if they are in real trouble.
They do look in trouble, don’t they. Good win for Charlton at Exeter’s expense. I expect Exeter to find the going a little tougher as the season progresses. P’Boro beating FGR - expected but a good 4-1 all the same.
Surprised they're doing quite so badly. Obviously lost quite a bit of their strength losing Twine, Darling, Kasumu etc. and losing the loans of Corbeanu and Coventry among others from last season but Manning's a good coach and the squad isn't awful.
Maybe just lack a bit of the 'toughness' required now they can't knock the ball around teams like they were.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
It’s why managers should take better jobs when they are ‘hot’ as it can soon come crashing down
Blackpool wanted him in the summer but he & his agent thought there would be better offers. Not saying Blackpool are anything special and it’s easy to say in hindsight, but might’ve been the right move.
I'm surprised at how far they've dipped. Losing Twine was a big blow. But I would still have expected them to be decent midtable. Same goes for Oxford.. There's two teams there, that I thought would be in the top 10-12 and pushing for play offs.. I still rate Manning as a coach. Based on how he had them playing last season. But this will be a test of his credentials, trying to turn it round, should MKD stick by him. Life's grim at Oxford, too, according to one of their fan pod casts. The crowd have started turning on Robinson and there's been pitch side altercations with some fans and Branaghan. Very toxic atmosphere.

I’d love to see Cameron Brannagan here. Top top player for this division, although not sure where he’d fit in given Evans form alongside Morsy and Ball as a decent back up to them!

A pathetic crowd of just 6k must make it a horrible home atmosphere. What a ridiculous stadium
I live in a village not far from MK Dons. We used to avoid the area on match days as the roads were so busy. This season it's dead unless a big team bring numbers... it's a shame as the stadium is amazing, but their fan base is non-existent this season. I haven't seen a Dons shirt for months now
