Was it a groin injury?
Where do people see him coming into the first team picture? He’s a big addition and will be on decent wages… so he’s not a squad filler. He’s certainly going to be on the bench soon.
He’s obviously ahead of Humphreys, and Aluko is out. He’s back up to Morsy, and perhaps pushes Ball back, although Ball is competition for Evans in my mind.
Think Camara is going to be cover for Morsy and also completion for Chaplin, and Harness.

As teams sit deeper against us, ‘breaking the lines’ is just a crucial weapon for us!
Morsy does it pretty well, and we’ve seen some joy from Edmundson breaking from deeper.
But I think this is Camaras strength… so it’s how you bring that into the team with Morsy and Evans in the line-up… switching to a 4-3-3? With Camara central and ahead of Evans/Morsy.. then Burns and Harness/Edwards wider of a lone Ladapo/Chaplin?!
Certainly any Morsy suspension or injury brings Camara in. | |

Has happened a fair bit over the years, Vemund Brekke Skard comes to mind for some reason. Signed, then went off and had a hernia op. If the injury isn't significant, then there's no reason not to sign him. Similarly, Tyreece Simpson joined Huddersfield with an injury. | | | |

He's the prime candidate for the Morsy role if/when the latter gets suspended but McKenna's shown so far he can be very clever in making the most of a player's attributes rather than pigeonhole them to a certain position.
His main strengths appear to be winning the ball and carrying it forwards and I'm sure McKenna made a comment when he signed about him being suited to a deeper midfield role. He'll be one to get us from back to front quickly more than try and create something once in the final third. |  |

Good to see, I mentioned on another post that, Davis and Ladapo aside, we have not seen much of our summer recruits. They always say don't change a winning team but it would be good to get more of an idea what Ahadme, Ball, Camara and Keogh can bring to the team, they have not had very many minutes between them. | | | |
