All three open play goals were brilliant. All three pens were pens by modern standards but all incredibly soft which was the only thing stopping the game being the best ever, but up in the top 3 or 4 WC games I’d say. |  | | |

I’d forgotten about the Bolton game but that game was more about “Us”.
I’d probably add the Liverpool v Newcastle game to it but well all said and done, Cup finals have a habit of being boring due to the amount of what’s at stake.
