Wood’s effort was comedy bad. All he needed was the red nose, clown shoes and a flower that squirted water. But take nothing away from Sheffield W. They were excellent
Hell of a win for Wednesday on 20:11 - Jan 7 with 2015 views | ringwoodblue | A very enjoyable FA cup tie. Windass looked very good (weren’t we previously looking to sign him?) Wendies will unfortunately get a lot of confidence and belief from that result and I think they look strong for the remainder of the league campaign

You're right, they will, unfortunately. So much for them missing Bannon too! As much as I would like it to be us and Plymouth promoted, barring a 5/6 game wobble, I think the Wendies will do it, so need to hope that Plymouths reliance on loans is their downfall and our gain.

Hell of a win for Wednesday on 20:27 - Jan 7 with 1826 views | cbower | That's what the Cup is all about. It doesn't quite feel like a giant killing because of the size of Wednesday as a club but it really is. Fully two leagues apart and Newcastle are flying. Great atmosphere too. Compare that to Liverpool v Wolves on ITV 4. All Prem tie, big crowd, seems flat though.

Hell of a win for Wednesday on 21:02 - Jan 7 with 1599 views | BigCommon | Impressive result and performance from Wednesday. McGuiness, Smith and Windass were their stand outs for me.. Really impressed with Smith. Hes not just a big lump up front. Looks good with ball to feet, too. And his movement, dropping into the hole, pulled Newcastles CBs about a bit, I thought...Plus, when Newcastle did bring on some big guns, Wednesday saw it out. So , hats off to them, really..... Just shows the level we are at , in top end L1.
