…. long term goal

Not sure our off field structure is quite as resilient, and we could handle a McKenna departure in the same way they have handled managerial change

I believe Brightons excellent director of football went to Newcastle

Yep, I’d be happy with that. But doubt they had anything like the off field structure they have now when they were where we are.

I’m not sure how we compare with other clubs like us (top of lg 1 and lower champ)?

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

Southampton maybe? I know they got a new stadium, but it’s only a tad bigger than ours. They’ve had a good run and generally tried to play football the right way. It’s too early to tell whether Brentford have got it right (long term). The first couple of years are relatively easy.

(That sounds stupid given where they are in the table, but they’ve been in the league for over 10 years). Also Palace, Leicester we’re in a par with us before Evans ruined us.

Does 22-years-old count as a "new" stadium?

Both will be gone in three years as they are systemically asset-stripped. They are just doing what 20 other clubs have done in recent years = overachieving for a brief period before subsiding back to where they came from - or worse.

There’s a big queue to take their places - including the likes of Blackburn and Luton

Recruitment is the most important thing in football, both on and off the pitch. Both of them have been and continue to be absolutely fantastic at it.

The BHA owner (Tony Bloom) has invested hundreds of millions over many years to get the club into the Prem.
