Derby seem to have lost their edge and I’m now more hopeful of getting a result there next Saturday. Do that and that really is a massive statement to Plymouth. Barnsley is going to be crucial and I do wish we’d played them today. Peterborough always raise their game against us I feel but again I’m hopeful of at least a draw. Last game really could decide it and I’m hoping it’s not Three points needed with other results going our way in order to secure promotion. Another 12 points? You think we'll need 87 points to get into the play offs? We would have to spectacularly collapse not to make the top 6, we'd have to pick up under a point a game between now and the end of the season for that to be a genuine possibility. Even a point a game over our last 9 games gets us to 84 points which would absolutely see us in the top 6 come the end of the season. [Post edited 25 Mar 2023 22:03]

I see what you mean...Im just more inclined to have "win the league" as a first target. If that becomes out of reach, then move on to 2nd target of runners up, and so on.
Imo, setting interim targets, that are too easily achievable . Can have players patting each other on the back and slacking off, well before the season has finished. Which wouldnt bode well for our form, should we be heading into POs... Aim for, and think about the highest possible acheivement, while it's still possible.. | | | |

Spot on. The one game at a time approach is to actually win each and every game. IMHO, we are the best team in L1, by some distance, and I can see us just winning one game, then another, then another..... No one for us to fear. Bring it on. |  |

We always hear from KMcK……we look at/take 1 game at a time.
M. Duff at Barnsley stated mid week…..Barnsley look at/take each 45 mins at a time.
