Watching the Town in 5 video and hearing the roar of the crowd makes me quite emotional. The feeling of a club genuinely united and on an upward path after years of neglect. It’s beautiful, BUT…
The feeling of dread and stress and actual horror of how it will feel if don’t go up, man it’s horrific to even consider it. The fact we’ve had to win 8 on the spin just to get close to the top two is crazy. Wednesday aren’t done, despite their doom-obsessed fans. Plymouth, the pasty-eating bastards, just refuse to buckle. Playoffs? Fk ‘em.

Totally get your concerns of course and i too have (sumo) wrestled with this,but I have to say even when things were a bit iffy a month or 2 back I had and have confidence that if promotion didn't happen this season the momentum and direction of all going on would only mean we would be delayed by a season with this mission after years of hell and we all know its going the right way and would walk it next year and would be in an even better situation.....but please God...this season anyway. I'm less concerned about promotion and more concerned that KM is going to be seriously courted if we do.
Because the run needed to gain promotion will be mightily impressive, adding to his already decent CV.
That being said, I'll not lose sleep over it....enjoy the ride and what will be will be...even if this turns out to be a fleeting dazzling brightness gone all too quickly.

Nothing in football is forever as in life. Success in football is both logic and magic and often short lived. This is no time to worry about a manager change, player change, player injuries nor what happens if we were to miss out on promotion.
The vision, infrastructure, leadership decision making around the club is on a different level right now, it’s backed by investment capital with a time horizon of multiple seasons. I’m sure there will be set backs, there have been a few small ones, but they are exactly that, not since David Sheepshanks have we been in this place to ride the waves and reach our potential as a club whatever that might be in 2023.
