With the clear-out that has been happening and apparently not signing the deal offered, I'd have assumed they wouldn't be playing him regularly if he was off at the end of the season, maybe he is sticking around? |  | | |

I think we've outgrown him to be honest. Lovely bloke, very switched on, but I can't see a future of him ahead of Davis / Leigh or Clarke / JD.
Best thing for all parties is for him to move on and play regular football elsewhere IMO. |  |

He's an interesting one. It wasn't an insignificant amount of money we paid for him, and he's not been fit from the minute he arrived. Curious to see what the future holds for him as I do think he offers something a little different to the rest of the squad. | |

At the moment, I wonder how many people would have to be unavailable before he'd get a game. No Town player has known McKenna as long as he has, and the message has always been that he's not quite good enough. It would hardly be a surprise if he wants to leave. I'd heard that the bulk of the fee is only due on promotion and that is why it was a 2 year deal only - but who knows | |

Wonder to what extent our signings / transfer fees are linked to promotion clauses. A fair bit I would think. Not an issue of course, and pretty standard, but same probably goes for players incentives. Annoys me that the likes of Pigott might get a nice promotion bonus. | |
