Not sure what your issue with that signing is to be honest. It was a cheap punt on a then 21 year old who had 5 goals in 5 games and had ripped Woolfenden a new one just a couple of weeks prior.
Didn't work out and unlucky with injuries, but that's life.

It was a panic buy when we couldn't get Hirst because we had waited around all summer.
