Best Chambo fist pump? 09:36 - Aug 4 with 1732 views | itfcjoe | Hard to separate the 5 London away days in 2014-15 - up until last year has there been a better set of away days in a season? Taking massive allocations, great spirits, great locations and great wins. Noel Hunt Richard Chaplow Freddie Sears first goals Murphy after 30 seconds at Brentford The Fulham boat ride and Murphy brace Days I'll always cherish, shared with many people - friends and family. Probably not topped as a run of games until that week in April with Posh, Barnsley and Exter - but prob at a different stage in life where having to drive to Posh post a kids football team opposed to getting early trains out of Ipswich Station

Was the Brentford one on Boxing Day? on 09:56 - Aug 4 with 1630 views | Dyland | We scored five...? There was p1ss all reception and we couldn't quite believe it.

Best Chambo fist pump? on 10:07 - Aug 4 with 1571 views | the_toff | The first 3 on that list were top tier. I would probably put them in that order actually, not so much for the games but for those moments.
Best Chambo fist pump? on 10:20 - Aug 4 with 1535 views | unstableblue | 14-15 was a good season And relied on great players putting in great performances, Murphy of course, but Chambo stands out as a leader on the pitch in his performances that campaign. Important to note he was playing at right bank and overall being successful in that position - as he did at Forest - that role did go a bit sour, but so did the team. His hosting of yoof players at his gaff another highlight. I do also remember this goal in the dark days (well just before they went dark, we played some good stuff), a mini fist pump at the end: In a season that started with promise, but ultimately had a manager in Lambert who bizarrely lost it, and all interest, despite having put in a great pre-season camp - very weird. Given this telling interview from Chambers: https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/21423364.for-long-worried-teams-now-people-can-worr A well earnt retirement for Chambo - and hopefully taking in lots of Town games! Best Chambo fist pump? on 11:10 - Aug 4 with 1395 views | Steve_M | Brentford was the best all round performance but the end at Watford, a classic battling win against a good side after some indifferent away form, the most memorable. I think Millwall was Freddie Sears debut though, Hunt scored two and Parr one. Sears scored at Brighton in a 3-1 defeat shortly afterwards.

Best Chambo fist pump? on 11:20 - Aug 4 with 1348 views | JakeITFC | Brentford away we were absolutely unbelievable - that game and Boro at home around the same time we looked so good (and it wasn’t hit and hope football either), really dominating good sides. I’d plump for Watford of those though. The wheels had fallen off a bit but then and they’d battered us for 90 minutes, so it was a crucial three points and kept our play-off hopes alive. The best celebrations are those that are relief and joy. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Bishop was ridiculous, so good. There was a five minute spell when we played like Brazil. Wasn't that Tabb's header (lol) game as well? I may be conflating games.

Tabb header was against Boro. That was a sexy goal.

It was so ridiculous it was sublime. A comedic spoofing humdinger of a goal. I reckon the two defenders he leaped between are still traumatised.

Same here. After the Charlton game Chambers was pretty animated down our end and it was only when I saw the game back that I saw what he was ‘saying’ to the interviewer. Very funny.

Think it was 2-0? We did them 4-1 I think the year before.

Think that one the previous season (or season before that even?) was the 4-0 Terry Connor masterclass with Mick stuck on his sick bed.

Two Tommy Smith headers from corners wasn't it?

Yes, from memory think Aaron McLean's only goal for the club came in that game as well.

Leeds was 4-1 in that December, we even went a goal down in that one before hammering them. It was not far off Boro and Brentford in terms of performance. The better football under McCarthy really was good fun.

Leeds went down to 10 men if memory serves me right, but we did batter them. I didn’t see the Brentford away game but did see Middlesbrough - the best performance of the season.

Watford was great because it was the best away end, the most unexpected victory as we were struggling a bit, I was up there as a guest of Johnstones as they were taking us to the JPT final the next day (and rep was an ITFC fan so a few of us tied it in before meeting the rest at Wembley) so had bed, board and booze mostly paid for - just the best celebrations for a goal, right in front of us - definite case of #limbs
