I kind of wonder whether to make it more realistic there should be the odd tractor pulling in and out fields, a herd of cows wondering down a lane on their way to being milked and so grumpy old so and so going the wrong go while complaining about pot holes | |

I kind of wonder whether to make it more realistic there should be the odd tractor pulling in and out fields, a herd of cows wondering down a lane on their way to being milked and so grumpy old so and so going the wrong go while complaining about pot holes |

Anyone up near the Sweffling White horse, they're opening specially from 12pm-3pm for people to have a drink and watch the bikes go by.

It is. Bit too many West Ham shirts appearing though, looks like it’s the new Essex retirement spot. Still blue collar enough to keep its soul, really nice in places along the front. Even Beach Street is good for some grub and a beer now. As you say, those other 2 places are so far up themselves it’s unreal, worse than Woodbridge. | | | |

Agree with that. Everywhere looks better in the sunshine admittedly, but I went a couple of weeks ago and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Played golf with a couple of friends, had a couple of hours to kill after so walked around Felixstowe. I like what they're trying to do with Beach Street with the pop ups there, had a very nice couple of slices of pizza which I ate on the beach, had a pint at Hopsters. People watched as I walked down the seafront, lost £1 on one of those grabber machine things.
There's a time and a place for the more twee Southwold or Aldeburgh for sure, but Felixstowe is definitely improving, while retaining it's more traditional British seaside feel. Certainly very kid friendly too. | | | |
