Huddersfield. 10:45 - Sep 24 with 3085 views | carlo88 | Delighted they've gone for Darren Moore just in time for our match next weekend, a significant downgrade on Neil Warnock.

I like Warnock. But if he were the Messiah, he wouldn't have left so many teams, full stop. I appreciate he is of a venerable old age, but a journeyman is a journeyman for a reason. Nothing wrong with that, but KMac he ain't.

What clubs has he left in a right state?

Huddersfield. on 11:48 - Sep 24 with 2849 views | _clive_baker_ | Wouldn’t be so sure, new managers first home game etc. I reckon if we can go in at least level at the break we can do them 2nd half. Would be huge to go there and get the win without Morsy and get his ban out of the way.

He's a fantastic manager, his record clearly proves that.

He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty Colin.

Moore unbeaten against McKenna in their 3 meetings.
Huddersfield. on 21:37 - Sep 24 with 2140 views | BigCommon | I don't rate Moore as a coach. He plays a "bully boy" style of football, imo. No in game management. Just, blood, sweat and an attempt to bludgeon teams into submission, by doing the same things, over and over and over again Strange"ish" circumstances in the way Warnock left. Clearly felt unwanted there by the hierarchy. So there might be some disarray around the dressing room, if he was popular amongst his players.. Good time to play them, imo. We can take advantage of them perhaps being a little unsettled for a few weeks...

I don't think you can underestimate the new manager bounce factor, however Huddersfield seem to have been a mess for a while, hence why Warnock was there There must be a lot going on behind the scenes there, it feels like they are sleep walking towards League One which historically is their natural level really

He was booted at Leeds and Palace (2nd time) for poor runs. Cardiff he went from hero to zero pretty quickly. He left them playing awful, long ball crap.

Yes, historically they were champions or runners-up of League 1 six times between 1923 and 1934.

Agree, that's the thing at Huddersfield... It does feel, imo, from the outside, that all is not well behind the scenes there.... Although, perhaps we are so stable atm, that a lot of teams appear to be in a mess , in comparison to ourselves.... Your right about the new manager bounce. They are away at Cov' tomorrow. Tough game.. Might get an idea of how their camp is, with Moores arrival.

Unfortunately there’s two massive factors coming into play on Saturday isn’t there. Morsy out and new manager in. Town don’t look half the team without Morsy in it : it’ll be interesting to see if the squad has developed to cope better without him, but I fear it hasn’t. Taylor will probably pair with Massimo, which will give us a different style if MF. If Huddersfield under Moore present more as a bully boy outfit (as suggested by BigCommon), then we’re in gif a tough tough game in MH view and a point might have to be seen as a good result if we can get it. Not ideal but there you go.
