This is all so much bullsh1t.

Thousands of Arabs live and work in Israel, many in their health service and the like, They all live in perfect harmony. The majority of people on both sides just want to live.
I was in Israel working / on business in a Kibbutz many many years ago for a couple of weeks and and the people there - and the people in the Arab towns close by - just wanted to live together.

Those Jews spouting hatred in that clip are not the rank and file Jews, they are radicalised American Jews much like the idiots causing havoc in London at the moment are radicalised Muslim Arabs.

Meanwhile in the real world epicentre, people on both sides are in great fear and this is what happens when you are ruled by fanatics.

Quite why anyone on TW4TD thinks it a great idea to poke people bellies on this continues to completely amaze me. We were all panicking when Aldi ran out of toilet roll, put yourself in Gaza right now.

I asked this question last night but people didn't like it. Can't see the twitter thread but are there any conclusions yet? I can only see this....

Regardless, imagine reposting such inflammatory content without knowing the reality either way.

In news that will surprise no one on here, I'm a pacifist, and that quoted but from you sums up a lot of why I find events in the middle east (much as in Ukraine) so utterly miserable. Normal people, trying to live their lives, being killed because a very small proportion of humans are psychopaths. I've found myself avoiding the news in the last week as the whole thing is so completely senseless and it just makes me angry and sad in equal measures.

I had 2 threads deleted due to people's reactionary responses not due to the content of the op's.
The use of words is highly relevant in the dehumanising of Palestinians so people, even the most virtuous amongst us, should be very careful before sharing stuff about "40 beheaded babies."
Maybe you can share anything I have shared/posted on here even close to this?

In the early months of World War I, there was a persistant rumour about the Germans cutting the hands off women and children. Everybody knew somebody who knew somebody who had seen handless babies. There were high-profile media campaigns and money raised to look after them. There was - and is, in the light of later research - no evidence it ever actually happened.

It's all part of the (not necessarily conscious) demonising of enemies in war, believing they are capable of any inhumane act. Reinforced if genuine atrocities have occurred.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Not like you to make up complete and utter bollox in order to continue trolling over this tragedy.

Nobody said “40 babies were beheaded”. What was posted: “ Early reports coming in of the bodies of 40 Israeli babies, some beheaded found at a kibbutz in the south”

Log off for a while please.

And whatever has gone on, it clearly is a pogrom, something to my knowledge that has not happened since 1945.

And being a Kibbutz, I imagine many would have been sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, if an interview with a relative of one of those killed is anything to go by.

And for the avoidance of doubt here is the dictionary definition.

"an organized killing of a large group of people, esp. Jews, because of their religion or race"

I think most reasonably aware people know it's not everyday Palestinians but Hamas committing these atrocities. I don't know why you keep trying to hijack threads with this nonsense. Give it a rest, will you.

Indeed it is and is thoroughly inhuman and barbaric. This is surely a given.
I accept that the shared thread says some not 40 beheaded but we still have no idea how many if any. Sharing unverified stuff such as this is inflammatory and prepares the ground for the inevitably brutal and indiscriminate response.

Mainstream media is all over the place with Palestinian radicals but from experience radical Jewish fundamentalists are just as bad, if not worse.

If you are interested in the answer to that question, why are you asking it on here?

Why do you thing a person on TWTD would know that answer.

You have access to the internet, why don’t you go and find out, if you are so keen on knowing the answer.
