It’s the performance more than anything. So much of our play is slow & ponderous and in front of them. So often we allow them to get 10 men behind the ball. They seem to be able to break quickly, why can’t we? [Post edited 10 Feb 2024 14:44]

They played a low block for large parts of the game. You have to be patient with that. Our quick transitions work primarily when the other team are actually looking to play. Which is why we take risks at the back. | | | |

But there were a few occasions when we’d got the ball forward into a good position and then just put our foot on the ball and passed it backwards, losing all momentum & allowing them to get everyone back behind the ball again. | | | |
