It's only since ft that I've been able to enjoy the ride, tbh! MA & just about all the staff as well as players on the pitch getting their medals & limelighted now the fans have gone back to their seats. [Post edited 4 May 2024 15:15]

It still annoys me slightly that Plymouth pipped us to the League last season & managed a win & a draw against us, as I was convinced that we were a much better side than them. I think we've now proved that!

that is crazy, for the top scorers to only have 2 penalties (can't remember how many we missed!) is evidence of the dice stacked against us, what a team!

When you look at where the two teams that went up with us finished - 20th & 21st, both only narrowly avoiding going straight back down by 3 points & 1 point respectively, it really makes our own achievement even more gobsmacking. We finished 43 points above Wednesday, and 45 above Argyle!

I believe we still hold the First Division Curly Wurly record from 1984/85 as well.

Yep. Summed up perfectly by Hutchinson's deflected off the keeper goal that clinched it.
