In a word - No! I doubt he knew the level of speculation and presumably quantifiable interest from other clubs that was about to come KM’s way. I’m even more sure that there would have been a sizeable promotion bonus in his package.
So no I don’t think it’s reasonable to have expected him to have acted sooner. Plus, as others have said, we don’t know if an increase has been offered and if it has what it actually is. |  |
