The Sunak Shambles continues apace... on 20:51 - Jun 8 by Whos_blue
Going from worse to clusterf@ck. Utter Omnishambles.
With stuff like this, laughing at another person who complained to him about the NHS (below), and his boasting about moving funding away from deprived areas to give it to places like Tonbridge Wells, it seems more and more as if he has utter disdain for anyone who doesn't inhabit his elite social strata.

You get the best in. You hire a doctor and a couple of nurses, build an extension on the wing of one of your mansions and pay for them to live in. No problem. You don’t need a welfare state. Choose and buy the support you need. Simple. If you can’t afford it, you deserve nothing. The deserving poor.
I witnessed what this poor lady is talking about last year and fully understand what she is saying. Sunak and his thoroughly nasty crowd do not. I understand how difficult it is to get help when you are in a desperate situation and how hard it is and under pressure the people are who are trying to provide it. Those people are amazing.
Yet Sunak and co view them as not worthy of anything beyond a free clap during a pandemic.
Surprised this one isnt making the main news pages. It utterly obnoxious. Even the tacit support of someone with a sexist and demeaning tone (You don't say "love" to a GP trying to make an impassioned point unless you are being utterly disdainful and a bit sexist) before we get to the laughing at it.

It's just a pantomime distraction. Are they fleecing us any less today than yesterday? Have they slowed up raping the planet? But look at this everyone, smoke, puppets, and useful morons, all the way to your new owners.

As an analogy, ITFC gained automatic promotion from the Championship partly because we were toughened by a hard fight to get out of League One.
Sunak and his team have never had that experience of really having to fight. The man himself inherited one of the safest Conservative seats in the country (during an election which generally went well for the Tories), without the usual trial of having to contest a "no hoper" first. Many of his advisors are resting on the laurels of 2019, when there were so many things going in the party's favour, it was hard not to get a positive result.
They think it's easy, when their mettle has not really been put to the test.

They don't seem to be very good at running towards adversity but they are very good at creating adversity.
