Its been pretty quiet on that front recently for a player that Chelsea need and wnat to sell.
Perhaps as a result we've gone back asking Chlesea if their intital asking price (which maybe we baulked at) has changed at all and perhaps they're realising 20-25 mil isn't going to be fortchoming
15-20 mil would seem a bit more reasonable and feasible for us. |  |

We must have walked away from Chelsea’s initial valuation, I can’t think we waited until now to ask what it is, and are now asking if it’s changed. Given there has been no obvious rush to part with £25 million by anyone my guess is it will have done.

I think he's been reasonably open about how much he's loved it and I think he is definitely open to it. He's just also very ambitious and so he may get a better offer. Think Chelsea will sell because they need to. I think it's all as simple as this. Odds probably similar to McKenna extending his deal here and for similar reasons. |  |

Thats a fair assessment. I am probably preparing myself for him not to come back just in case though I would be gutted deep down. From where he was at the beginning of the season to where he was when it ended was incredible. A lot of that is down to McKenna and first-team football, both of which we can offer him next season.

If we’re not able or prepared to buy at their current asking price, we play the waiting game and hope no other club pays what they are asking. I’ve said somewhere else’s that this one may well go to the wire and as CFC will then be desperate to offload, we might get out man . Here’s hoping anyway…. |  |

I heard from a chelsea fan that we had an option to buy for 15m as part of his loan deal but it had to be exercised at the beginning of the loan ...that would have been a huge risk for us ...as 15m is big big money in championship if we stayed there |  | | |
