I'll ban myself fom competing in the Olympics fothwith :( Seiously, macbooks ae geeat, longlasting laptops - apat fom the keyboads - quite apat fom this poblem, the supaficial letteing on most-used ones like 'e' goes within 24 months. No shop within 30m, would mean almost a whole day out to take it in.

It's a good mind-boost to constantly be thinking of all the alt ways of saying something that don't include the missing letta!

Stuck keys on Macbook laptop on 16:02 - Jul 25 with 1612 views | Help | Is it now a stuckbook? TWTD or ITFC? Yeah, use a hairdryer on cold and fast to blast any bits from under the keys. put the attachment on that squishes the air through that small rectangle hole as well to concentrate the air further.

Reading the OP I hoped another board member well experienced with sticky keyboards would be able to help. Just to add; splash/gush guards are recommended going forward.

Stuck keys on Macbook laptop on 01:10 - Jul 26 with 1269 views | thepommylump | Be very careful with a hair dryer, make sure heat is off, the keys melt, distort and pop off very easily. What you really need is a compressor to give it a good blow out. If it is a 2018/19 model the keyboards are pretty rubbish and Apple had a free replacement program for 4 years, but unfortunately that has ended. The only other thing to do is try and find a youtube video on how to remove and replace keys and try taking off the affected ones and cleaning underneath, make sure you watch a video on the correct keyboard, 2018/19 are different to 20 to new, they are all the same.
