Gold for Great Britain… on 12:56 - Jul 29 with 1704 views | Ryorry | Yep, well done to all. "Hose-dancing" is a completely false desciption though. At 3-day event level, the dressage section consists of entirely natural movements - walk, trot, canter, halt, rein-back - apart from the half-passe (fowards diagonally).

I watched the last lap of that knowing what had happened up to that Point and that was some performance. To make up 40 seconds after a puncture and still win/outsprint the next best.... Never watched mountain biking before it looked barmy!

He's just getting his medal, I think in mountain bike the coming together will be looked at favourably as he had actual got past him and the French rider wouldn't give up the line.

....after he dunked the inner tube in a bucket of water to find the hole. Then he used the funny little chalk cube to mark where the puncture was. He gave it a bit of a rub with the sandpaper, then he squirted some of that glue and stuck the little patch on. He did well to only lose 40 seconds to be fair.

missed that bit but realised it had all happened. Just can't believe he caught the time up tbh, and then kept getting back in front when the french bloke responded
