I've just had the misfortune to visit the Bluemoon forum, what a nasty bunch of arrogant tw*ts. Didn't realise they hated us so much, all going back to 2001 apparently when we relegated them, they're all talking about 5 and 6-0 scorelines for tomorrow.
I've hated them with a passion for the last ten years, much more than Norwich, can't stand them even more now. Hope they get deducted 100 points.

They're not wrong though.

We had a fair old rivalry with them the season before, Nicky Weaver's antics not helping, so many Town fans took great delight in sending them down in 2001.

And in fairness, they probably would expect that score against us.

Anything less than a 4-goal defeat would be a somewhat decent day for us. Cheating bastards though. 115. Relegate ‘em

My FIL messaged me earlier saying Pep doesn't like drubbings so they'll keep it to just 6-0!
I so want us to win or even draw tomorrow!

They weren’t arrogant before the oil state took them over as a vanity project.

Not so much a vanity project as purchasing a large dose of global soft power

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Quite so, we are playing a United Arab Emirates All Stars XI currently based in Manchester.

As for Manchester City football club, it ceased to exist in any meaningful historic sense as of 2008.

My long-departed uncle who was a lifelong Citeh fan refused to go again after the takeover. He knew what they'd become.

I worked for a company who office was within walking distance of Old Trafford the year they got relegated. My boss on that Monday morning after that game knew I was a Town season ticket holder and with my East Anglian accent, pulled me into the office, gave me a stack of work which could be done at home, and told me to not return to the office for a week. He was concerned for my safety.

That's a decent boss!
