Why so long? Not even a referral warranted. The footage simply doesnt show the decision to be obviously wrong.

There were actually two fouls. He was clipped before the incident in question as well.

Yes he was slipping, but he was also swinging for a shot, which was blocked by a defenders foot. Its a foul.

If it takes longer than 20 seconds to adjudicate on VAR it should go back to the refs original decision.

The TownTV comms team said they thought disallowed cos Clarkey kicked into Ev player's knee - but of course someone in chatroom pointed out that Clarkey couldn't avoid the knee cos it had been planted there to trip him up!
