Jack Clarke on 16:33 - Oct 19 with 2296 views | tonybied | No, he's been a massive disappointment so far! A long way to go this season and there's all the chance that he may settle and find his feet but he's offering very little to the team at the moment.

Thought KP (again) and Morsy had poor games, Hutch , Clarke and Delap were our better starters. Subs made a difference. Would say start with the subs, but whenever the subs become the starters, they are afflicted with the same problems!

Has he had a shot on target yet?

Jack Clarke on 22:51 - Oct 19 with 1709 views | RobTheMonk | Definitely a player in there and he was excellent I think against Villa? His numbers for Sunderland were very good last season so a step up was a logical move. I think he'll come good. The majority of the starting 11 weren't great today to be fair.
Jack Clarke on 23:14 - Oct 19 with 1564 views | cbower | He should have scored against Villa with a header, and could have had two today if you inclyde the penalty shout incident. Things would look very different then. He is a talent who needs time.

He didn't tho If Mark fish had connected with a few tackles his debut may have been a good one.

Jack Clarke on 00:27 - Oct 20 with 1303 views | ArnoldMoorhen | He tracked back and put in a last ditch tackle/block in our area to save a clear goal scoring opportunity in the First Half.
Jack Clarke on 04:46 - Oct 20 with 1105 views | ArnieM | He's very much a young lad, at the early part of his career, learning the game. The taken fm on and beat dm all approach which worked so well at Championship level simply doesn't cut it at PL level. He tries to beat the whole team on hid own, and as yet didn't integrated into the "team", where a timely pass off to a team mate would probably have a much better outcome. Delap is similar. He has one aim when he gets the ball. Run fast at the defence, snd shoot. More guile is required because his approach won't work every time. But ultimately both players are very much WIP and need time and coaching.... problem is yij dont get that time in the PL, to learn your trade
